A business deal?

Prime and Finance Minister Najib is forced by a Saudi Ministerial denial, to claim that his hundred  million dollar hand out did not, after all, come from the late King Abdullah nor from any Saudi government funds and, by implication, that Saudi Arabia is not funding “moderate” Islamic governments in the Far East.

Well, what’s one more lie in a life of lying, stealing and worse? No one will believe him anyway apart from those who he has used public money to buy.  And even these are beginning to waver. A gift to moderate Islam has a nice ring about it. A bribe to a crooked Malaysan politician sounds rather different. Mega theft worse. And certainly harder to defend no matter how much one has been paid.

And, just as a thought, what sort of business deal needing capital of nearly USD700 million can “return” all but 61 million as Najib claims to have done?  Oh and by the way, Najib, as you are not a lawyer (still less an Attorney General) you could always try claiming that you did not know that election buying is a criminal activity.

If you had any crecibility left, even in the brainwashed kampongs (which you don’t) this will remove any that is left. Even the humblest rice farmer or rubber tapper does not respect a thief.
