Few will be surprised to hear Financial Secretary Irwan’s announcement that the so called BRiM will begin to be paid very soon. He failed to add that GE14 would also be held very soon.

No one should be surprised that the FS’s boss, mega crook Najib, has devised this means of making the taxpayer finance part of BN’s campaign in GE14. Of course the major costs will be met from the billions stolen from 1MDB and other public sources of finance but every little helps; especially when it’s only cost to BN is reputational. It will also relieve the strain on BN election spending legal and otherwise.

Malaysians by now have realised that the party that has dominated political life for decades has degenerated to a mere criminal enterprise focussed on the enormous enrichment of arch thief Najib and his fellow conspirators. That being so it will disappear in GE14 and its leaders will spend the rest of their lives in the less luxurious, but healthier, atmosphere of Sg.Buloh.
