Resolving scandals?

Press reports indicate that arch thief Najib Razak is rushing to “tie up” scandals prior to the holding of GE14!

Named among those scandals are Felda and 1MDB. If this report is correct it would indicate that, at long last, Najib is admitting that these crimes, and others, actually took place.

That is a long way away from clearing himself and others from personal involvement in the criminal actions in those contexts. Let alone dozens of other criminal activities in which he and his associates at all levels in government and the civil service have been personally involved.

How he must wish that he had a magic wand that would make all his crimes disappear. But there are no such wands. Merely all the evidence against him and his fellow crooks. Among whom must be counted the Attorney General who “cleared” him while holding up in public irrefutable evidence of Najib’s crimes.

If Najib thinks that all he has to do to clear his name is to shout out publicly that he is innocent he has another think coming. His guilt can and will be established in the courts AFTER he has lost GE 14 and the augean stables of Courts, Police and Civil service have been washed clean. Better run for it now if you want to avoid lifetime residence in Sg. Buloh.
