Still Posing

Ex PM Najib continues to pose as a respectable politician; the latest move being to champion taxi drivers over their grievances.

PH do not appear to realise the danger posed by allowing this mega crook freedom to try to get public opinion on his side in the face of his multiple impending criminal trials.

It is one thing to say that accused persons are innocent until proven guilty and quite another to allow mega criminals freedom of movement and action while their trials are pending.

Naturally the prosecutors wish to be certain of their case(s) and should take the necessary time to prepare them. But, in this particular instance the Investigation Papers on the SRC offences have been available for many months and there does not appear to be any reason not to go ahead with those now and the more recent cases when they are ready.

To do otherwise risks giving the impression that there is really no evidence against a man who has systematically robbed his country and his fellow citizens over a period of years.
