The more Chinese voters “swing back” to UMNO the better their chances of getting school funding from government. This from ex UMNO boss Zahid currently, still, awaiting trial on corruption charges. Clearly he fails even to understand what corruption is.
What he was saying is in essence this. We will buy your votes. That sums up UMNO and its long history of electoral corruption. Whoever the Malaysian chinese voters choose in future one thing is certain.It won’t be Zahid or his fellow crooks.
There is more in this incident than yet anther display of electoral corruption by a master of the art. It also shows that until Malaysia rids itself of the cancer of racism there can be no real national development.
