The Malaysian State of Sarawak is in serious danger of being seen as never never land and especially in view of the antics of its Assembly Speaker.
The latter is reported as saying that a speech made by an opposition Member had been “expunged” from the local Hansard because persons attacked by that speech “had not been present to defend themselves”!
Had they been would they as non members have been allowed to address the Assembly? Even by this apparently uninstructed Speaker?
This incident shows, once more, how democracy is being perverted by the ruling GPS party, with assistance from the Chair, to cover up scandalous and criminal behaviour.
