In a statement that will have Sarawak electors rocking with amazement for weeks BN Dudong candidate Tiong publicly blamed the Sarawak Opposition for failing to hold the Malaysian Government to account!  In fact there is some truth in what he said as opposition MLAs have taken the pay rise, put on the joke uniforms and let BN do what it wants.

It is what he also said when he continued his remarks that takes the breath away. He claimed that the Opposition could not be trusted as they had failed to denounce BN’s crimes and so voters shoud keep BN in office!

Tiong’s medical history is not a matter of public record so if he is merely a deranged lunatic his words can be discounted.  He would not be the only madman in the BN ranks. But if this is so why put him forward for election?. Are there not enough certified madmen and crooks in BN ranks already that another needs to be added?

The fact of the matter of course is that he is the very close relative of the owner of the massive timber exploiter Rimbunan Hijau who is one of the closest cronies of mega thief Taib Mahmud. This timber firm is, just, the second largest in Sarawak and has also raped tropical forests in other countries as well as Sarawak.

So it is no surprise that RH want a voice in the Assembly, especially now that Taib is not there and his puppet Adenan has been busy pretending to be an honest man and the protector of what is left of Sarawak’s forest.  But to choose an idiot like Tiong?  One supposes that they cant trust anyone not of their own blood.  In any case they need to worry that PKR/DAP’s first political move will be to abolish timber thieving and put the thieves in jail.
