In these terms mega thief Najib tried to minimise the 1MDB scandals. Can he seriously have thought that anyone would accept such nonsense?

The fact of the matter is that he personally benefited to the tune of 681 million dollars from the fund. And that when at all times he had the sole power to approve or not any business dealings by 1MDB!

Hoist on his own petard as the proverb has it. In his anxiety to ensure that no one but himself could steal any assets from 1MDB he gave himself absolute control. That, of course, makes him absolutely responsible for all that went wrong.

Yet here he is, mega lying as usual in a vain attempt to play down this vast swindle. And with others as large still to be revealed! The voters will know that the only thing to vote for Najib is a series of life sentences for mega crimes.
