Interpol substitute?

Serial apologist, and also DPM, Zahid has stated publicly that the three Turkish nationals deported back to Turkey from Malaysia had not been so sent on the demand of the Turkish government but after a request from what he called the Counter Message Centre.

This latter, until now unheard of in Malaysia, remains so because Zahid did not explain what it is, what its role is, what powers it has to give orders to sovereign governments and, crucially, why Interpol was not involved in this murky affair.

When Malaysia wants to harass or persecute anyone it has form for trying, though without success, to use Interpol. But this time, no. How did Malaysia come to know that these three Turkish nationals were wanted for alleged political offences in Turkey? Why did the Turkish government not use the Interpol mechanism? The answer is simple. Interpol needs evidence of criminal activity and in this case there simply wasn’t any.

As to why Malaysia, and Zahid, should be rushing to send these three to Turkey that is clear enough, They are political opponents of Turkish dictator Erdogan. What importance does that have, or should have, for Malaysia?

Simple answer. Turkey is the preferred bolthole for mega thief Najib and his doxy when he has to run for it to try to avoid life imprisonment in Malaysia. So what Ankara says or asks, Najib and his accomplices rush to obey.
