Wishful Thinking?

The new IGP is reported as saying that fugitive Jho Low will “soon be brought back to Malaysia” Since the PDRM have proved incapable of laying hands on Jho for at least a year it sees reasonable to conclude that reports placing the fugitive in the Chinese People’s Republic are correct

Furthermore it could only mean that Beijing have decided to drop Joh as a  bargaining counter. Why and what for? If the IGP knows he certainly did not say.

So is Jho to be added to the list of gifts from Beijing to Kuala Lumpur as it pursues its aim of bringing Malaysia into the CPG sphere of influence? If so why? What does an atheist communist State see as a reason for befriending an Islamic one?  Certainly not ideology. Nor protection of an ethnic minority; which in any case abhors communism.

The only discernible reason is to bring Malaysia into the CPG zone of influence and control as Beijing pursues its world wide bid for hegemony. To ignore that danger is to put at risk Malaysian freedom and sovereignty. Najib was ready to do that, For money. PH?
