Another Saudi Statement

This time one the Saudis did not make, at least in public, and it relates not to Najib’s thefts but to the Sarawak election.

It appears that Taib and Adenan were privy in advance to the statement that the Saudi Minister made in Istanbul about money “gifted” to Najib.  Apart from the fact that neither of them believed for one moment that the bulk of this “election gift” was returned unused they at once saw an opportunity.

Just as crocodiles see an incautious foot entering the river so this crooked pair at once smelt a further money making opportunity.  If Najib could get it why not us, they reasoned, forgetting for a moment that Sarawak is basically a Christian State and so not likely to be granted Islamic financial aid.

However, nothing tried nothing gained.  So the dirty duo duly made their application. only to have it rudely turned down.  If their chum Najib hadnt needed most of their “gift” why should they cough up for an election in a Christian State?  Furthermore, not having been born yesterday and having good intelligence on Malaysian affairs, the Saudis were well aware of what Taib and Taibenan had been up to over the years and well knew that they could buy a dozen elections out of their own pockets and hardly notice the difference. So no Haj or umrah this year!

Of course Saudi Arabia is not a democracy, as Malaysia allegedly is, and so has no need to buy elections; even if there were any.  How Najib, Taib and tribe must envy them!
